A friend of mine sent me a link this morning to an AMAZING artist based out of Ohio.  Art by Ariel's etsy store features giclee paintings of young, natural hair girls, in every shade of brown.  I'm not an art critic by a long shot, so I won't try to explain analyze her work in "art speak", all I can say is her work is just absolutely jaw dropping.

As if I needed another reason, the images of these little girls surely tugged at my womb.  She also has another series featuring the Obama family that is equally impressive.  Enough talking from me...Enjoy her work below and head over to her etsy store and make a purchase.  I know I am.

Restoration Hardware

My best friend was in town for the weekend and wanted to experience some Houston shopping.  We walked into Restoration Hardware and "accidentally" walked in through their child and baby section. OH MY GOD!!  My inner princess and maternal instincts both jumped out of me.  I wanted just as many things for myself, as for my unborn babies (lucky kiddos).  The bedding, the chandeliers, the make up tables, oh my...I had to wipe the drool off a few times.  If you are lucky enough to have a store in your city, I suggest you go in and take a look.  If not, here are a few of my favorite rooms from their online catalog.

My Weekend

My bestie visited me this weekend to celebrate her birthday.  Lots of laughter, horseplay, lazy mornings and sweet treats.  

We also put on our favorite lipstick and dancing shoes and hit the town.

I love that girl.
